Description of lesson: In this lesson the students get to watch a virtual map about flowers. It shows the most important things that make up a flower. It explains them and shows examples and graphs.
Assignment: In this assignment the students will watch the virtual video. Then they well explain to me and their group, what they feel is the most important part of a flowers make up and why.
Resources/materials needed:
Technology reflection: The technology used in this lesson can help show the expansion of what makes up a flower. For example all flowers have petals, but they are not the same on every flower. This virtual tour gives them a chance to see that in a fun way rather than just reading through a book about plants. Without this technology and it would just be another thing to research and more knowledge to retain.
Evaluation: I feel as though this lesson is a lot of fun, but it also has a lot of information. I don't want my students to lose focus on the project because of all the information. It's not something that needs to be remembered word for word. I just want my student to pick up the basics from this virtual tour.
