Lesson 3:

Title of lesson:
Hunting for Answers

Description of lesson:
In this lesson the kids will be learning about the life of the average human. They will be learning that humans are mammals and that each life cycle depends on each different persons health and other various things. They will learn the life cycle of both men and women in this lesson so that they can get an idea of what their average life cycle is.

Assignment:
The in-class assignment for this lesson is an internet scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt will allow them to get the information they need about life cycles in a fun and interesting way. They will need to answer ten questions about life cycles and they will get their answers from doing a little internet research. There is no homework assignment for this lesson. The scavenger hunt will begin and end during class.

Resources/materials needed:

Technology reflection:
The technology used in this lesson will teach the kids how to use the internet to find information that they can use to learn about different topics. This will change the learning experience for the kids because it's an interactive way to learn about a specific topic. This research would not have been something I would have expected kindergartens to be able to find, but the internet made it fun and easy enough for them to do!

Evaluation:
I really need to make sure that the in-class assignment isn't over their heads. I don't want to overwhelm them with information, but I want this to be an easy and fun assignment and one that they can do without getting frustrated. I just worry that it may be to complicated and more time will be spent helping them use the technology than them learning from the technology.
